Take a private sewing in my studio! This is a 3 hour class slot suitable for beginners. Bring your own machine or use one I have at the studio. For each class we will focus on one specified project i.e. scrunchies, tote bags, elastic waistband pants. I will provide everything you need to make the item. You will be able to choose from a variety of fabrics. We will focus on finishing one item, but if you have some sewing knowledge and finish the one item before the class is finished, then you will be able to make a 2nd of that item in a different fabric to take home too! What you will learn:

-Threading a machine, basic tools and uses, basic stitches, how to cut out a pattern piece on fabric, getting comfortable with sewing speed, terminology, basic fabric knowledge

Class Level Description:

Beginner: Never sewn before - sewn a couple of times. Never threaded a machine or sewn on a piece of fabric - knows how to thread a machine and has sewn a simple piece like a pillowcase. 

Intermediate: Has sewn many times - knows how to assemble a garment. Knows the basics of sewing - can sew with a pattern and pattern instructions but wants to know a bit more advanced techniques.

Advanced: Has sewn for years, knows how to assemble a garment smoothly, knows sewing terminology and most sewing techniques but wants to evolve their skills with advanced techniques and sew difficult garments. 

Workshop Policies:

Cancellations: No refunds or cancellations. I will allow a transfer of a workshop to another person of your choosing. Please let me know at least 24 hours in advance if you would like to transfer your workshop to another person. If you cannot find someone to transfer to and will be forfeiting your spot, please let me know 24 hours in advance. 

Date Swap: If you cannot make the class but have signed up and would like to swap dates, I only allow the swap if you notify me 2 weeks prior to the workshop date. 

Gifting Workshops: If your purchasing a workshop as a gift, write “gift” in the notes for seller box and I will email you a info graphic that you can send to the recipient with info on how to sign up. 

Age requirements: Must be 14 years and older. Kid's workshops will be hosted separately.
